Service and scope
AVINCODE provides a paid vehicle-identification and automotive-glass reference research service using the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and available records. We do not manufacture, sell, install, inspect, or certify automotive glass, and we are not affiliated with any vehicle manufacturer, insurer, government agency, or glass-certification body unless expressly stated. A lookup is an information service, not a purchase of a glass part or an installation service.
No guaranteed match or timeframe
A paid search does not guarantee that a compatible glass part number, complete specification, specific feature, or definitive result will be found. Some vehicles require manual research, and some records may be missing, outdated, conflicting, inaccurate, or unavailable. Automatic results may be immediate; specialist follow-up can take longer. We do not promise a specific completion time unless a separate written commitment is made. If information is unavailable, a report may state that no reliable match could be confirmed.
Accuracy and independent verification
VIN decoding and available databases may not reveal every trim, windshield option, camera, rain sensor, heating, acoustic layer, antenna, bracket, calibration requirement, or later vehicle modification. The customer must verify vehicle identity, part numbers, options, fitment, safety requirements, and manufacturer procedures with a qualified professional and the physical vehicle before ordering, cutting, replacing, installing, calibrating, or driving with glass. Do not rely on AVINCODE as the sole source for safety-critical decisions. AVINCODE does not guarantee completeness, accuracy, fitment, suitability, or regulatory compliance.
Customer information and permitted use
You must provide an accurate, legible VIN and complete truthful information. You must have a lawful basis to submit the VIN and any associated information. You may use purchased results for your own lawful purposes; you may not scrape, copy databases in bulk, resell or redistribute reports commercially, bypass technical controls, impersonate another person, submit unlawful content, or abuse our service. You are responsible for decisions made using the report.
Price, payment, and no subscription
The currently displayed price is US $2.00 per VIN lookup, charged once for each requested lookup, unless a different final price is shown and accepted before payment. No recurring subscription is included. Payments are processed by the checkout provider identified at payment. The charge compensates the lookup process and any applicable research, not a promise of a successful match. Do not submit a new paid request to correct an error without first contacting support.
Final sale and refund policy
Because the paid service involves digital lookup and research costs, purchases are generally final once processing has begun, including when a result is incomplete or no reliable match is available. We do not ordinarily refund a completed or started lookup solely because it did not identify a part, the result differs from expectations, or you no longer need the information. This policy does not limit rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived. We will review requests involving duplicate charges, unauthorized transactions, a charge made despite a technical failure preventing us from providing the purchased service, or other circumstances where a refund is legally required. Contact support with the transaction reference. We may offer a correction or reasonable additional investigation when appropriate.
Third-party sources and services
Information may come from vehicle data providers, catalogs, records, and third-party services outside our control. Their content and availability may change or be interrupted. Links, payment processors, and external websites are governed by their own terms. We do not warrant third-party accuracy or continued availability, and do not endorse external parties merely by referencing them.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, using a unique strong password, and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. We may apply reasonable security controls, restrict suspicious activity, and suspend access to protect users or the platform. We use safeguards but cannot promise that any internet-connected system is absolutely secure. Never provide payment card numbers or account passwords in support messages.
Disclaimers and limits of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE AND REPORTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION, OR ERROR-FREE DATA. AVINCODE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, VEHICLE DOWNTIME, INCORRECT PART ORDERS, OR INSTALLATION OR CALIBRATION COSTS, TO THE EXTENT SUCH EXCLUSIONS ARE ALLOWED BY LAW. TO THE EXTENT LEGALLY PERMITTED, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM AN INDIVIDUAL PAID LOOKUP WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID TO US FOR THAT LOOKUP. THESE LIMITATIONS DO NOT EXCLUDE LIABILITY OR REMEDIES THAT APPLICABLE LAW PROHIBITS US FROM EXCLUDING, INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR OUR OWN FRAUD, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR OTHER NON-WAIVABLE OBLIGATIONS.
Indemnity for misuse
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify AVINCODE against third-party claims and reasonable costs caused by your unlawful use of the service, breach of these terms, or unauthorized submission of data, except to the extent resulting from our own wrongdoing. This does not waive consumer protections.
Service interruptions and changes
We may perform maintenance, revise features, correct inaccuracies, or discontinue offerings. We may suspend abusive or unlawful activity. Material changes to these Terms will be posted with a revised effective date; changes apply prospectively except where law permits otherwise. The version accepted at purchase will govern that purchase to the extent required by law.
Disputes and applicable law
Please first contact support with your order reference and a description of the issue, so we can investigate and try to resolve it. These Terms are governed by applicable law, including mandatory consumer-protection law. Nothing here restricts rights to contact regulators, dispute unauthorized charges, or pursue remedies that cannot lawfully be waived. Any forum-selection or arbitration provisions would require separate review and are not imposed by this version.
